• Kids can easily get caught in dangerous conditions.

• Their surfboard can become a weapon to themselves and others if they don’t know how to use it.

• If your child is using the wrong equipment for their level it can stagnate their progress.

• You or your child may go out at spots that are beyond their capability.

• Kids can injure themselves on the reef or shallow sand banks if they don't understand how to read the ocean.
